A Comment on Copper Wire

So I love to use Copper Wire to make jewelry. Yes, I know that it tarnishes. Yes, I know that not everyone can wear it. But I still like to use it.

I was at my first show on Sunday, and wanted to show someone how even if the copper tarnishes, if you swish it in lemon water and salt, it will brighten right up. Well, it is very important to remember to bring the salt when you want to show off with this little trick, because just water and lemon juice will not do it. Note to self: Start carrying salt in the vehicle, just in case I forget it again. So what about the lemon juice? I actually had to pick it up at the store that morning, because I also forgot that.
