Holiday Baking Party

Yesterday my sister-in-law had a Cookie Swap Party. This is the first time I've done something like this. Each of us had to make 10 dozen cookies. Yes, that's 120 cookies. But each of us got the leave the party with 9 dozen different cookies.

I looked in a family recipe book and found a recipe for Lemon Snowflake Cookies. These are my kind of cookies because there are only 4 ingredients. I also experiment by making with a spice cake mix and a vanilla cake mix. These make a very soft cookie. Here's the recipe

Lemon Snowflake Cookies
1 Box Lemon Cake Mix
1 container Kool Whip(approx 2.5 cups)
1 Egg
Powder Sugar

Mix Cake Mix, Kool Whip and egg together. This will be very, very sticky. Drop by spoonful into the powdered sugar and roll. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until edges are brown. Makes 3-4 dozen cookies.

Enjoy!!
